Write for Rights 2019
The Write for Rights event for 2019 was a joint event with the Portsmouth Student Union Amnesty Branch. Some of the featured cases were
- FIGHTING TO SAVE HER COMMUNITY
- SENTENCED TO DEATH AT FIFTEEN
- FACING JAIL FOR SAVING LIVES
- JAILED FOR PROTESTING FORCED VEILING
- TAKEN FROM HIS FAMILY BY THE CHINESE GOVERNMENT
- SHOT AND FORCED OUT OF HIS HOME
- BRUTALLY BEATEN BY POLICE AT FOURTEEN
- GROWING UP WITH MERCURY POISONING
- SENTENCED TO EIGHT YEARS IN PRISON WHEN HE WAS 17
- DISAPPEARED FROM THE STREETS OF CAIRO
